day trips to Charlottetown (45 minutes drive), Cavendish (69 minutes
drive) and the like, there are lots of things to do locally such
as basting in the sun, swimming, and walking in the spectacular
Greenwich National Park (8 km away) or taking a bicycle ride on
the Confederation Trail which is only a stone’s throw away
from Greenwich Gate Lodge.
The
area around Greenwich Gate Lodge is a fisherman’s paradise.
There are several creeks, streams and rivers close by for trout
fishing. The Morell River is an island renowned spot for trout and
salmon fishing and only a 10min drive away.

a leisurely bike ride along the Confederation trail, which
is only a stone’s throw away from Greenwich Gate Lodge.
This expansive trail links one end of the island to the other
so you can bike to your hearts content. We also offer special

any one visiting the island going to a Ceilidh is a must. For a family
night of laughter, dancing and unforgettable memories visit one Saturday
nights at the Goose River Ceilidh (10 minute drive), Sunday nights
at Monticello Ceilidh (15 minute drive). St. Peters Quigley Memorial
Hall Courthouse Theatre is a 5 minute walk from Greenwich Gate Lodge,
throughout the summer they will be having story telling, original
plays, ceilidh’s and local musicians to entertain you…….a
great way to end your day! |
